Unravelling is the third studio album from Scottish indie rock band We Were Promised Jetpacks. The record comes three years after 2011's In the Pit of the Stomach, and the Edinburgh outfit expanded its sound with the addition of multi-instrumentalist Stuart McGachan, unleashing a darker, abrasive side in single "I Keep It Composed." They recorded the material at Glasgow's Chem19 studio with producer Paul Savage in the early months of 2014.
