Though he’s the son of Americana legend Steve Earle, Justin Townes Earle has established himself as his own gift songwriter on the strength of four album’s worth of folk gems. Now, he’s gearing up for his latest project, Single Mothers, due out September 9th via his new label, Vagrant Records.

Serving as the follow-up to 2012′s Nothing’s Gonna Change the Way You Feel About Me Now, the new LP finds a 32-year-old. Earle sober and married “What he’s created is an album that’s raw, honest and personal in a way he hasn’t touched upon since his debut EP, Yuma,” a press release notes.
